I'm trying to setup a server which uses /dev/shm as the db home dir in much the same way described in this ticket: https://fedorahosted.org/389/ticket/469

From the description in the ticket, it appears that the entry can be modified at runtime. However when I attempt this, I get an error stating that this value cannot be modified at runtime. The only way I have gotten this to work is by modifying the dse.ldif directly and adding the attribute.

Can this be made to require a reboot to take effect?
