The documentation for register-ds-admin.pl says the following:

"The register-ds-admin.pl script does not support external LDAP URLs, so the Directory Server instance must be registered against a local Admin Server."

Would there be any issues in creating the ldap entries that this script creates in a remote configuration directory instead of a local one?
