Yes I confirmed we have a faulty/corrupted build. Still not sure how it
happened, but it will be fixed in the next build. I'm just waiting for
a few more fixes to get committed then I will do new Fedora builds (and
I'll send you the link to it)

Just as an aside, I’ve also run into exactly the same problem on my
full test server as well, though on that one I had to enable ldapi
according to the RH guidelines via cli, as it was upgraded from 1.2.
