Hi John,
if you grep this attribute in your dse.ldif, is it set to on ?
grep -i passwordMustChange /etc/dirsrv/slapd-<your instance>/dse.ldif
Thanks,
German.

Subject: [389-users] New Password on First Login
This was working before but doesn't seem to work right any more.
When a password is reset or a new user is created, I need to force the user
to enter a new password on the first login. It was working, but no longer
is, and I'm not sure why. How do I make this happen?
I'm using the 389-console.
Sincerely,
John W. Hosie III
