Has anyone gotten windows computers to successfully authenticate against Fedora Directory Server? If so is there a walk through online somewhere? Or is it just ridiculously easy to do? Or is it like having a windows computer join an active directory domain?

Windows machines will not authenticate directly with an LDAP server. You'd need to do something like set up Samba using LDAP as a back end.
There are plenty of how-to's out there. Googling "samba ldap domain controller" should be enough to get you started.
Thanks, I will look into it. Has anyone done the Pass sync thing for active directory and fedora ds?
