Hi all,
Does anyone have suggestions for a really good
tagline for the new Aeolus site?
Looking for a tagline that's:
+ A concise statement of Aeolus's purpose
+ Clear and informative
+ 6-8 words (general rule of thumb)
Placement of it on the website is in the top header,
where the initial design sent through yesterday says
"tag line goes here".
The things I keep thinking of are along the lines of:
"Cloud Management Software <???> <???> <???>"
But nothing so far feels really good. Too plain
maybe.
Any ideas? :)

The obvious thing of course is 'Aeolus - the Winds of Change' and then
having the Scorpions blare from a flash app that has no controls,
especially none to stop the music or turn down the sound.

i.e. the fact that we are building a metacloud out of existing clouds.
I don't have a really good tagline, but something like 'Aeolus - cloud
to cloud to you' or 'Aeolus - the cloud of clouds' go in that direction.

Yeah, that's a good point, that's worth working in.

I dunno, just a couple off the top of my head. Taglines are not really
my thing :-p

Heh, I keep on mentally associating "Cross Cloud" with angry
clouds. So, that one's not working for me. (it would make
for some comedic icons though. :> )

Thanks to Tomáš Šedovič for the suggestion of:
"Manage Your Cloud Deployments With Ease"
It seems workable and fairly well targeted, as it
conveys that Aeolus is a Cloud Management <thing>
and is designed to not over complicate the lives of
people doing Cloud Management.
Nicely, that phrase isn't turning up at all when
searching via Google nor Bing, so no-one else is
using it either.
In short, we'll be using this for now. :)
