This is long time coming, but I finally got around to documenting setting up and running a Config Server here: http://www.aeolusproject.org/page/Audrey_Config-Server-Setup
Please let me know if you have questions or run into problems. I wrote it fairly quickly, so there may be errors or omissions.

Cool, would you be ok with the contents of that page being moved to the main Audrey page on the site? (presently a stub needing info)
http://www.aeolusproject.org/audrey.html
Also, my preference would be to having the compile instructions not be there, but instead be on the main "compiling" page:
http://www.aeolusproject.org/compiling.html#audrey
The instructions there already should be right. (in theory) They worked for me earlier today, but this isn't really my area. :)

As further info, also assembling project wide pages showing the log file locations for everything:
http://justinclift.fedorapeople.org/aeolus/log_files.html
And configuration files:
http://justinclift.fedorapeople.org/aeolus/config_files.html
(that one's copied from the log files thing, and 99% stubs)
With all these bits in their respective places, the main Audrey page will be everything from your wiki page, minus the configuration stuff (which will be in the above config page).
Workable?

For the "Need to find out what this component really does" below Thin in the Audrey section, the description could be:
Thin is a ruby web server to run ruby web applications.
And configuration files:
http://justinclift.fedorapeople.org/aeolus/config_files.html
(that one's copied from the log files thing, and 99% stubs)

I'm not sure I get this. Do you want me to rip out the configuration file piece from http://www.aeolusproject.org/page/Audrey_Config-Server-Setup and just link to http://justinclift.fedorapeople.org/aeolus/config_files.html ? I can do that, but I just wanna make sure we're on the same page.
Workable?

Thanks, will update. :)

Yep, that's what I'm thinking. Best wait until I've copied the info though, and the page is live.

Ok, is this modified version of that still correct?
Thin is the ruby web server Audrey Config Server uses to run the web application.
Trying to make it specific to what this thin.log is for.

Yep! Sounds good. Thanks

I think the contents of Audrey_Overview probably better suit that location. We could link from there to this documentation. But, since Audrey really isn't limited to the Config Server, I wouldn't want the first bit of information the user is likely to see to be centered around how to configure the Config Server.
Also, my preference would be to having the compile instructions not be there, but instead be on the main "compiling" page:
Yeah, I'm gonna upload the RPM(s) to fedorapeople hopefully today, and update the Config Server configuration docs to say just install from the yum repo instead of building the RPM locally to install.
I still want to leave a blurb at the bottom of those instructions for running the Config Server in development mode...which, I guess isn't really "compiling" per se.
The instructions there already should be right. (in theory) They worked for me earlier today, but this isn't really my area. :)
