Hi Jeremy, all,
I was just catching up with some folks and we discussed the status of
48-bit VA support. It seems to me that it would make most sense to have
an official coordination effort between those vendors/community members
who are interested, to ensure that they help with the necessary package
updates ahead of the kernel, and work with a test kernel to identify any
additional packages or issues that need resolving. I believe it would
make most sense to have a Fedora feature page (or something less grand,
but similar in concept) tracking this for F26, with the deps.
Perhaps Jeremy can update us on the status, and then he and others can
help drive this forward (someone should nominate themselves as the ring
leader too). I spoke with Cavium earlier today, and I know they'll be
keen to help. I know Qualcomm had expressed interest during our IRC
meetings in helping out. To that end, I'm copying at least those I know
so far who are interested here.

Boots (a few screens of messages) but fails to run first boot user setup.
There appears to be some confusion about the output display (HDMI
connection) though it worked through u-boot and beyond the switch to
framebuffer for additional line output.
Journalctl output (from the 2016.10.18 nightly) is available at:

Installed latest nightly build tonight and I have found the following
1) there is no password request for root user
2) at start-up lines are out of the boundary of the screen (I am using a
32" Led TV full HD with resolution with 1920x1080 resolution): I had to
reduce also in Fedora to 1280×720 otherwise some space is out of the
screen, i.e. menu is invisible
3) at first boot I had a lot of updates, I told the computer to reboot
(installing updates) but at 97% screen froze..I made a hard reboot and
everything went fine. What happened?

Am I the only one who is having trouble with a Jetson TK1 and fedora 25 with
4.8 series kernels?
Mine has as of yet failed to boot on any of them.
But it boots just fine if I drop back to the last 4.7 kernel.
