The script is asking you to use apt-get, which is not a Fedora tool - Fedora uses dnf.
You might try "dnf install python3-i2c-tools", to see if it helps with the I2C
communications.
But really, the path of least resistance is to use the OS they wrote their tools for.

You can enable the serial port by adding this line:

in the file /boot/efi/config.txt and rebooting the Pi. If that doesn't work for
you, you might consider temporarily loading a copy of Raspbian on an SD card just to do
