I have now tried 3.8.3-102.fc17.armv7l and it still fails to boot. The last known
good kernel is 3.7.6-102.fc17.armv7l.
What's the command line you're using to boot it? Are you specifying a dtb file?

The full script I use is below. Every time I test a new kernel, I copy vmlinuz, initrd,
and the dtb directory. All of my tests were done with vexpress-v2p-ca9.dtb for each
kernel.
