Hello,

I installed the 3.6.1-2fc18 kernel into my f17 setup.  The Wifi and BT modules are there and everything looks good.

iwlist scanning ( after an ifup on the wlan0 ) yields a healthy list of AP's within range, the BT ( btwilink ) module on modprobe does exactly the same as my other SD cards ( buildroot ) setup and times out.

as I think ive already listed on the Panda ES its a TIWI BLE ( 1271L ) with the Bluetooth 4.0 ( EDR ).  this one seems to be the problematic part or of course an interesting challenge.

Hi Peter,

From talking with Pavan at TI, it seems in my setup ( buildroot ) my bluetooth chip does not return a revision thus i dont see it request a BTS ( firmware ) file.

I was not sure what all patches go into your kernels, in that perhaps something in there had been fixed up ( source file would be st_kim.c ).  on my board the gpio46 ( kim ) is not set correctly with a direction of out and set hi ( 1 ).

Regards
Nigel

We have all of the above in 3.6.7-5 on F-18 as modules actually. It
loads, detects HW and seems to have issues from there.
