The debug port is now working and I can log into serial console.
Seems my problem was with one of my wires not making contact. Go figure...
Also why once I have the console working, I keep the adapter connected.

I am treating this board as a Fedora/arduino board, and dropping any
work on Centos7-arm on it. It runs Fedora23 well enough, and for that
I really do not need a console port. So now I am trying to get the
arduino ide from Fedora supporting the board, so I can do some arduino
control stuff with it. Thus my post just a while ago.
But I will play around with the image you pointed out to me.
