Hi Mark,

Thanks for putting that online

I'm away at the moment so I don't have access to the script, the xgterm which was wgetted from DCU can be instead replaced with
wget http://iraf.net/ftp/pub/xgterm.LNUX.STATIC
mv ./xgterm.LNUX.STATIC /usr/local/bin/xgterm
chmod 755 /usr/local/bin/xgterm

The main body of the iraf2.c script is

#Package download and unpacking
cd /home/iraf
cat as.pcix.gen.gz | zcat | tar -xpf -
cd /home/irafbin/bin.redhat
cat ib.rhux.x86.gz | zcat | tar -xpf -
cd /home/irafbin/noao.bin.redhat
cat nb.rhux.x86.gz | zcat | tar -xpf -
#Trial Install
setenv iraf /home/iraf/
cd /home/iraf/unix/hlib
source irafuser.csh
./install -n
exit

I'm currently working on tying my script into the iraf.net install script to produce a completely automatic script designed for Fedora

Regards,
Simon

I hope Simon doesn't mind, but I've put the script here temporarily

I notice in the script that a couple of things are wgetted from DCU, so
make sure you modify those lines before running :-)
