When I visit badges.fedoraproject.org, there is no clear information about
the content license, such as, but not limited to, badge designs.
From my POV that means badges are CC BY-SA 3.0 Unported, because of FPCA.
If that being true, I would suggest adding this information to the footer
of the page and also tracking the author of the graphics in YAML and
displaying it on badge details page.

Problem:currently only shows me as having 100 free media tickets, but as
of today I have 880 tickets closed/fixed in the system. There may be a bug
somewhere in the reporting of this particular system. I have been
consistently mailing free media for the past four years.

Problem: when you want to learn fedora by collecting some badges, you can
lost a lot of time to figure out where to go to contribute.
For example :
* some badges use the title to help :
https://badges.fedoraproject.org/badge/extra!--extra!
* some badges may be difficult : https://badges.fedoraproject.org/badge
/fel-member
should we suggest better translation with hyperlink to the good page or
should it be a particular summary to guide contributors to the right
direction ?

= Badge Metadata =
* **Name**: Validation Robot {I,II,III}
* **Description**: You completed your {first,fifth,twenty-fifth} release
validation test!
= Badge background =
1. **Activities badge awarded for**: Completing
[https://fedoramagazine.org/release-validation-testing-fedora/ release
validation tests] and submitting results
2. **Who does this**: Members of the Fedora QA team or interested
volunteers who are becoming more involved with QA
3. **Why do this**: Helps run targeted test cases on various hardware,
machines, and other platforms to ensure Fedora runs well in an upcoming
release
4. **When do this**: I believe every release during the alpha / beta
phases.
5. **How do they do them**: Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but test
cases are run manually, results uploaded manually, so the badge would be
awarded manually.
= Artwork concepts =
1. '''Validation Robot''': My name suggestion above was a suggestion, but
I was thinking since test cases are well-defined ordered lists of tasks to
run, some kind of methodical / robotic visualization would make sense.
This could recycle artwork from the Robotics SIG badge, or we could try
making a robo-panda/badger… if someone wanted a challenge…
2. **Gears/sprockets**: Series of gears and sprockets surrounding the
number of test cases successfully completed

Hello,
We need fedora badge design for the Fedora Security Team(FST).
-> https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Security_Team
This is to be used for recognizing the folks who contribute to the various
FST activities.
Could someone from the fedora-badges camp help us with it?
Thank you.

'''1) What are those activities?'''
Being a member of Amateur Radio SIG
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/AmateurRadio?rd=SIGs/AmateurRadio
'''2) Who is doing them (are they packagers? translators? newcomers?
veterans? users? sponsors?)'''
Mostly Packagers
'''3) Why are they doing them (is this a means to a different end?)'''
They contribute to the popularization of Fedora by providing packages to
the Ham Radio community worldwide. They are interested in developing
Fedora Hams SIG Spin.
'''4) When do they do them (every day? once a year?)'''
They are constantly talking about the improvement of Fedora for Ham Radio
usage.
Badge is given once they join the SIG and retroactively as well.
'''5) How do they do them (by talking in IRC? by running commands in the
console? by using a web interface?)'''
SAS/IRC.
'''Lastly, do you have any ideas for artwork concepts?'''
Yes. I am attaching a preliminary idea.
The use of the International Amateur Radio Symbol seems appropriate.
Other idea would be a variation of the "Telegraphist" badge, since
Telegraphy is a symbol of Amateur Radio, not only historically, but still
as an active mode of transmission now a days: CW mode (Continuous
Transmission), but I still prefer the first idea.
