August 2011 - classroom - Fedora Mailing-Lists

In follow up to my previous post, I up together an outline for iptables and posted a classroom session here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Classroom This gives about 2 weeks for promotion of the event. The handout is long, and I am planning to cover the basics and filtering only in the irc session, NAT or other questions as time allows, but the handout is a (bit) more comprehensive. I will look at suggestions for additional classroom sessions , selinux has been mentioned and I may do that next.

Starting some classroom sessions

I am interested in starting a few classroom sessions, was thinking of starting with a session on iptables and then covering selinux. selinux is complex and I was going to break it into 4 sessions: Intro/Basics confining users / sandbox confining services debugging / local policies (modules) Probably announce a session for iptables to be scheduled 2-3 weeks from now (I will post on the classroom wiki page).
