libvirt and SELlinux 'access denied' in a VM
by Juerg Haefliger
Hi,
I started a VM using the official F20 cloud image, installed libvirt and
its dependencies and tried to create a guest but SELinux won't let me:

I'm not overly familiar with SELinux. Is this a configuration issue? Am I
missing some policy packages or could this be an issue with the cloud image?
Works fine when I disable SELinux.
Google found this, but it's old and apparently resolved:

Thanks

qemu / VNC / vino
by Nathanael D. Noblet
Hello,
So I've found a 'bug'. I have a group of developers who use
vagrant/libvirt to develop against. We use VNC since we are a
distributed team to connect to each other's desktops/workstations for
when we're at the 'huh this makes no sense'.
If libvirt/qemu-system-x86_64 starts before vino-server (which is
common since we don't leave the vnc access on all the time). Then vino
only listens on ipv6 instead of ipv4 and ipv6. At that point no one can
connect to the workstation over vnc since we are all ipv4 connected.
I'm not sure where the bug is and it isn't really a big bug as much as
I need to be able to tell either vino or qemu-system-x what ports to
use.
Thoughts? What should I look at/report?

Docker trusted build error
by Major Hayden
Hey folks,
I tried to make a docker trusted build based off the official fedora:20 image and everything worked well on a local Fedora 20 machine. However, when I tried to do a trusted build via index.docker.io, the process failed when unpacking the httpd RPM:
> Installing : httpd-2.4.7-3.fc20.x86_64
> error: unpacking of archive failed on file /usr/sbin/suexec: cpio: cap_set_file
Marek stumbled upon an issue last September that is similar:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1012952
There's no way to do a privileged build via index.docker.io so I'm stuck at this point. Does anyone have an idea for a fix? :)

No Meeting Today
by Joe Brockmeier
Hey all,
I didn't receive any agenda items for today, and there were no
objections to Matt's suggestion that we skip this week's meeting in
favor of actually getting stuff done.
No meeting today, we can convene next week. I'm sure some of the usual
suspects will be in IRC anyway if you need to chat.
Best,
jzb

Adopt-Your-Cattle Change - Scope?
by Sandro "red" Mathys
Wondering about the Adopt-Your-Cattle change, what is the scope of
that? Turning a cattle into a pet is mostly about different processes
on the user side, what do we have to do with it?
gholms suggested on IRC that cloud-init might possibly get into the
way of pets - but if the cattle didn't have an issue with cloud-init,
how could the pet? It's still running in the same environment and
everything, right?
Happy to tackle this change, but need to know what the expected
outcome looks like :)
Cheers,
Sandro
