by Pagure
jberkus reported a new issue against the project: `atomic-wg` that you are following:
``
This is one of several issues which need to be overcome in order to remove Kubernetes from the base Atomic Host image.
This issue is a tracking issue for the various technical problems and bugs which prevent us from running the full Kubernetes infrastructure in containers. @jasonbrooks should have detail on what the specific blockers are.

AMI retention & publish process to AWS
by pub@wesleytech.com
Greetings! Can someone please explain the process for publishing Fedora AMI's to AWS?
I see the "official" Fedora Cloud page has 'Click to launch' base images for AWS here: https://alt.fedoraproject.org/cloud/
However, if I click to launch the GP2 HVM AMIs, I see the us-west-2 (Oregon) AMI listed is ami-3dea475d, which was published 2016-11-15.
Do new AMI's get published on a particular cadence? If so, how/when does that happen?
If I search for AMI's from the Fedora account ID (125523088429), I can see AMI's as recent as January 29th.
https://us-west-2.console.aws.amazon.com/ec2/v2/home?region=us-west-2#Ima...
Are all images published by the Fedora account suitable/recommended for use?
I'm assuming that the newest AMI's would have all updates and patches up to date as of the publish date, is this correct?
What is the retention policy on AMI's? Can we count on a particular AMI (eg; ami-d27bc3b2 ) being available and not disappearing for a specific amount of time?
Thanks for your help!

proper way to deploy ci ostree repo to production
by Vasiliy Tolstov
Hi! I finally satisfied ostree on local server and want now to use me
tree on 10-20 servers.
I have ci system that inside fedora 25 docker container compose tree.
After that google says that i need to pull-local my tested commit to
production repo.
But if i want to use something like S3 or Swift cloud storage for
production, and i don't have local repo in docker container.
What is the recommended way in this case - mount s3/swift to local
path and pull-local?

RE: Prelim attendance and setup for Bitcamp 2017 (Apr 7-9,2017)
by Corey W Sheldon
To all NA Ambassadors,
I am asking to see who is willing and / or able to partake in Bitcamp
2017 [0] April 7-9, 2017.
I am already talking with the organizers and had planned to do a single
6' table and have preferably 3 ambassadors ( possibly more, or a mix of
ambassadors and other contributors (python SIG? cloud/Server SIGs?)
Seeing as this is a Hackathon, which has and encourages vendor mentors,
I personally would like to see someone other than just myself also show
up that was proficient, comfortable with mentoring some of the event's
hackers.
