..snip..
Some pending things: 1: "action" links... (ie: Create new, edit copy, logout) will eventually look lke something else.. buttoms probably.. but i want to make sure things are kinda consistent with the native form fields.. so that may not happen the way i want.. we'll see..). 2: pagination on top and bottom (need to look into the fact that they have the same id if i do it now.. might be a simple fix) 3: james wanted checkboxed rows to stay highlighted (i figured out highlight, unhighlight just didnt work....) 4: Make the action list in left menu drop down (the more I look at this the more i can't decide which way to go with it) 5: started some consildation logic in a few places. would like to see if its reasonable to get generic+kickstart+snippets all on the same code 6: general spit'n'polish (margins and such)
The details are here: https://github.com/gregswift/cobbler/commits/master
So of the above numbers 2, 4, 5, 6 still need work. 6 will probably be around for a while :) there is always room for improvement, but it is definitely getting to a much more stable point.
One of the more major changes I hadn't talked about previously is that I have re-done the zebra stripe of the list views. Here is the basic of what I did
1: Unselected all rows now basically have no background, but there is a faint bottom border (same color as hover background in #2) 2: Hovering a row uses the darker background from the old zebra stripe style 3: Using a check box to select a row uses the lighter background from the old zebra stripe style
I'm also curious, why did the context-tips disappear from the generic edit forms? They're still in the 2.0.11 branch i think.
