Jeremy Katz has figured out the proper magic-foo we need to change to
the grubby invocation, so we can now use the koan live CD once again
with some minor tweaks, coming shortly.
The koan live CD is nice because it (A) autodiscovers systems,
acting as
a PXE simultator, (B) unlike "cobbler buildiso" output you never ever
have to reburn it.
It doesn't offer support for asking what profile you want to install
(yet) if the system isn't defined in Cobbler ... like a proper PXE
simulator, but I see that as being pretty easy to add.
Look for this to be coming back soon. Buildiso support is useful and
works on all hardware, where the live CD always may not, so it's
staying
around too.

Still in progress, but I've also added an interactive mode -- if
discovery fails it will show a basic list of the available profiles and
allow someone to type in what they want to install (assuming the live cd
was not built with an explicit profile coded into it, i.e.
--koan="--profile=foo").
