Hello! My name is Radka, known as Rhea around the internet. I've been living all over the Europe, so I can't really answer the question "where are you from" with a single place :P I recently joined the RedHat team, so why not put on my Fedora as well? =) As former game-programmer I have my code in games like Angry Birds or World of Tanks, and I'm still very active in the gaming community. I'm admin of several Discord servers, from gaming to development related and some of them are partnered with Discord. I've got my own community-managment bot to help me with that job as well. Hi! My name is Ivan. I'm python/nodejs/bash developer and architect for distributed infrastructures and CI engineer. I've recently joined fedoraproject, and as far as I understand from wiki pages commonops is a good group to start. I'm CI engineer at Mirantis and currently I'm working on CI/CD systems for packaging and testing our downstream forks of openstack projects. I also maintain some upstream CI systems for openstack/fuel-* components. Few weeks ago I tried cloud based fedora 24 and liked it. In my free time I'm working on project for local deployment of fedora24-cloud cluster for testing and researching some distributed systems. I hope that in few weeks this project will reach some milestone when it will be enough useful to share with community. Well, actually, I believe that it will be very useful especially taking into account the fact that multi-node deployment is broken un Vagrant for a while and Docker doesn't support systemd. But right now I have no info about your repos and workflows for adding new packages to rawhide repo. I hope that you will help me in this. To be honest, I'm MAC user and prefer OSX as desktop system because it fits well in my everyday activities. But I always choose fedora-based distros for servers and clouds! Can we expect them to become part of the community by undertaking such specific, complicated tasks? So, while whatcanido is a place where you go to find "open tasks", I don't think it's a newbie onboarding tool at the moment. - - does the site give people a general idea of how the community functions? I've asked all the maintainers listed in the various upstream AppData files (using the update contact email address) to generate some OARS metadata and add it to the .appdata.xml file, but of course some AppData files do not have any contact details and so they got missed. I'm including this email here as I know some AppData files are included in the various downstream spec files by Fedora packagers. Generating metadata is really as simple as visiting https://odrs.gnome.org/oars then answering about 20 questions with multiple choice answers, then pasting the output inside the <component> tag. Using the <content_rating> tag means we can show games with an appropriate age rating depending on the country of the end user. If you have any comments about the questions on the OARS page please do let me know. Before the pitchforks start being sharpened it's an anti-goal of the whole system to in any way filter the output of search results dependent on age. The provided metadata is only used in an informational way. Hello everyone! My name is Aditya Konarde. I am from India and this is my first time contributing to an open source project. I am pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Engineering, and have a fair knowledge of Python, as well as commonly used web technologies. I have achieved the Red Hat Certified Engineer, RHCSA, RHCSA(OpenStack) certifications. I also have a working knowledge of Docker, and my final year project is on automated bare metal deployments. As you could guess from my profile, I am interested in both Dev and Ops :) I got to know about the fedora-commops group in a recent fedora online webinar, and I would like to contribute to the following: Storytelling (Magazine, blogs), Wiki and the Culture. I enjoy working with the community and have organised various events at the college level. I feel that my experience with such events will prove valuable for commops, as well as any fedora events in India. I am also looking forward to contribute into development and QA.
