--- Comment #8 from Tomas Orsava <torsava(a)redhat.com> ---
My apologies, I skimmed the Dockerfile and mistakenly assumed it was packaging
the rh-python35 collection due to the openshift tag. Upon closer examination
it's packaging the python3 ecosystem straight from fedora.
In this case I believe the name `python3` is indeed the best choice for the
container.

Indeed it does!
Food for thought: It might even be beneficial to go one step further and name
it `python35`. Python minor versions (3.5 v 3.6) are not API/ABI compatible and
thus instead of updating the container from python 3.5 to 3.6 it might make
more sense to release a new `python36` container. However, the maintenance
burden would of course be increased.

Actually I've realized we should probably keep the version in the name, similar
as it is done for the module names, so we should eventually have python2 and
python3 containers. I've changed the subject to reflect this.
Tomas, does it make sense to you this way?

Summary: Container Review Request - postgresql - Advanced
Object-Relational database management system
Product: Fedora Docker Images
Version: rawhide
Component: Container Review
Assignee: nobody(a)fedoraproject.org
Reporter: praiskup(a)redhat.com
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: container-review(a)lists.fedoraproject.org
Container Build Info URL:
https://praiskup.fedorapeople.org/reviews/docker/postgresql
Temporary git: https://github.com/praiskup/fedora-postgresql-container
Description:
PostgreSQL is an advanced Object-Relational database management system (DBMS).
The image contains the client and server programs that you'll need to
create, run, maintain and access a PostgreSQL DBMS server.
Fedora Account System Username: praiskup
Additional info:
This is import from sclorg/postgresql-container, rather than from previous
Fedora container "upstream" tracked in Fedora-Dockerfiles. This decision
was made to better align 'postgresql' term in Fedora container world with
'postgresql' in CentOS/RHEL container world. I'll try to move the former
'fedora/postgersql' image to different namespace once I'll have a bit of time
and I'll submit new merge review.
