Outage: Upgrade of Copr servers - 2025-12-10 07:00 UTC

Hello, There will be an outage starting at: $ date --date '2025-12-10 07:00 UTC' The outage will last approximately 3 hours. The copr-backend storage (copr build results) will stay mostly online during this outage but some downtime is expected. Reason for outage: We're updating copr packages to the new versions which will bring new features and bugfixes. Migrating Copr results to Pulp

Hello, Over the last year, the Copr team has put a lot of effort into supporting Pulp as a storage for Copr build results. Almost all the work is finished, and at this point, we want to start using it. The migration from our current storage to Pulp will be a several months long process, but it was designed in a way that you, as users, mostly shouldn't notice it. DNF refusing to install COPR package

This is bizarre. ppc64 builders are very slow

Hello, Since last week, ppc64 builds have been slower than ever, and some fail after a timeout. For example, it takes 18 hours to compile the cosmic-cettings package, whereas it previously took less than an hour, the cosmic-comp cannot be compiled again because the time limit has been reached. This is really annoying because it takes a long time and some results are unpredictable. Regards, Jean-Marc

Disabling powerful s390x builders in Copr

Hello packagers, I have temporarily disabled powerful s390x builders in Copr. Unfortunately, currently, IBM is unable to provide us with sufficient stable resources for these workloads, which makes this feature unstable. As a result, the s390x builders won't have powerful builders. I will keep you updated once the situation improves and resources are restored. Hi, A few days ago I received the email below. I am fine with the builds being removed. What confused me, however, is why the email was sent to osalbahr(a)ncsu.edu instead of osalbahr(a)gmail.com which is the email I have on https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/osalbahr and https://accounts.fedoraproject.org/user/osalbahr. I graduated and expect to lose access to my ncsu.edu email in a few months. How do I correct where emails get sent?
