The weekly status reports will replace the Objectives meeting and the
Mindshare/Engineering/D&I readout meeting. Especially that last one was
useful for _me_ to keep up in as the slides-and-jitsi format, but I don't
think it was really broadly helpful to the rest of the project (and
therefore a lot of work from the representatives going to not much return.)
Ben and I were talking and we suggest combining the tickets & ongoing
meeting and open floor meetings into one, with about half the time for
tickets. We'll have to keep better meeting discipline and watch the clock
for each one, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. What do you think?

That seems like a good approach to me. We generally don't have a lot
of tickets, so it shouldn't take long to get through them. If there
are non-ticket items that require a lot of discussion, we can do
tickets at the end or just give a quick for-the-minutes rundown. And
this way, the meetings hopefully seem more approachable for
non-Council members*.
*If you're a non-Council member, it would be great to see you in our
meetings more often. I'll bring (karma) cookies!

Yeah -- that's what happened way back at the dawn of (Council) time when we
tried to not have any regular meetings at all and just Do Things.
I think this plan actually makes them get poked more often (on a two-week
cadence rather than monthly.)
