Fedora core 4 avmdsl card capi

Hallo zusammen,
ich habe auf meinem Rechner FC4 installiert und möchte nun auch Faxe
versenden.
Ich habe die Datei fcdsl-suse93-3.11-07.tar.gz
ausgepackt und installiert.

StarOffice 8 neben OpenOffice 2.0?

Hallo allerseits!
Normalerweise arbeite ich mit OpenOffice (jetzt in der aktuellen Version 2.0),
möchte mir aber aus purer Neugier zum Vergleich mal StarOffice 8
installieren. Ist das gefahrlos möglich, oder sollte man in einer
FC4-Installation besser nur eine der beiden "Schwestern" laufen lassen? Hat
jemand damit schon Erfahrungen gesammelt?

Fedora Core 4 upgraden

ich habe mal zusammengeschrieben, wie man Fedora Core 3 _online_ auf 4
updaten kann.
In meinem Fall beschreibe ich das Vorgehen bei einem Strato-Server, es
sollte sich aber ohne weiteres auf alle anderen Situationen anwenden lassen.

Klipper mit dcop fernsteuern?

Hallo,
nun habe ich das Problem, dass ich klipper mit dcop fernsteuern möchte.
Soweit habe ich die Befehle schon herausgeschrieben. Nur wie bekomme ich
nun die selben Reaktionen wie bei den Tastenkombinationen strg+c und
strg+v ?
Die Befehle welche ich benutzen möchte lauten:
dcop klipper klipper setClipboardContents "markierter text soll kopiert
werden"
dcop klipper klipper getClipboardContents "vorher kopierter Text soll
eingefügt werden"
Welche Variablen muss ich nun hinter die Anweisungen setzen?
... und wie kann ich mit dcop die Tastenkombination strg+x für das
ausschneiden benutzen?

Frage zu lineak

Hallo zusammen,
ich habe hier die Cherry Linux Tastatur und diese mit lineak soweit
konfiguriert, dass fast alle Tasten belegt sind und funktionieren.
Die einzigenn, welche nich wollen sind die cut-, copy- und paste-
Tasten. Ich habe schon alles mögliche versucht, leider alles ohne Ergebniss.
Einen Scancode der Taste habe ich, kann diese leider nicht belegen, da
mir der Befehl fehlt.
Einen Code für STRG+x, STRG+c und STRG+v konnte ich nicht auslesen um
diesen emulieren zu lassen, beispielsweise mit xmodmap.
Gibt es eine Möglichkeit diese Funktion auf die Tasten zu legen? Nach
vielem suchen in Google bin ich auf dem Stand, dass es nicht geht aber
vieleicht kennt hier jemand die Antwort.
Was auch möglich ist, ist ein Script oder ein externes Copytool, welches
mit KDE zusammenarbeitet. Hauptsache ich kann diese Tasten irgendwie
belegen.
Ich nutze FC4 und die lineak-RPM's (testing) von ATRPMS. Die Tastatur
ist eine Cherry CyMotion Master Linux.

gnome-pilot

Hallo,
da ich mich neu in die Liste eingetragen habe, möchte ich mich erst mal
vorstellen. Ich heiße Thomas Stofer, bin über Mandrake und RedHat
letztlich bei Fedora gelandet. Ich bin zwar kein Anfänger mehr, aber
wurde mich jetzt nicht unbedingt als ein Profi bezeichnen. Meinen
Rechner benutze ich hauptsächlich im Office Bereich.
Nun zu meinem Problem:
Ich habe unter Fedora Core2 meinen PalmV immer mit gnome-pilot und
Evolution syncronisiert. Nun ist aber mein Rechner "abgeraucht", so dass
ich mein System neu installieren musste. Bei der Gelegenheit habe ich
dann FedoraCore4 installiert. Der Palm ist an ttyS0 und das funkt mit
pilot-xfer auch. Aber wenn ich dann über Evolution mit gnome-pilot
synchronisieren will, dann findet der den Palm nicht. Auf dem Palm
selber läuft aber die Synchronisation durch, während gnome-pilot ewig
auf Antwort wartet. (Hört sich etwas komisch an, aber ich weiß nicht wie
ich es anders beschreiben soll) Hat jemand von Euch einen Palm auf diese
Weise schon synchronisiert? Wen ja, dann bitte ich um Hilfe, weil das
für mich schon sehr wichtig ist.

Hylafax Usage Report

Hallo,
seit Anfang an nervt mich ein wenig folgendes Problem. Jeden Tag bekomme
ich obigen Report, nur es steht max. 1 Fax drin, welches gesendet bzw.
empfangen wurde. Das einzige was korrekt angezeigt wird, sind logs die
gelöscht werden:
Purge session logs older than 30 days:
Remove log/c00000207
Remove log/c00000208
Remove log/c00000209
Weiß jemand woran das liegt? Ich bin bislang nicht fündig geworden.

Wo ist die Mail jetzt ?
Ich dachte eigentlich das fetchmail an procmail weiterreicht und dieses zu
cyrus.
Ich connecte ganz normal mit hostname port 25 mit meinem windows email client
auf meinen server bekomme aber keine mail angezeigt und abgerufen.

Procmail gibt nicht an cyrus weiter

Hi,
also cyrus läuft und ich habe auch eine mailbox angelegt, zm bsp user.antorox. Jetzt hole ich meine mails mit fetchmail ab. Dieses soll die mails zu procmail weitergeben, die dann wiederum in der imap mailbox von cyrus landen sollen.
Wenn ich fetchmail - v aufrufe passiert folgendes:

Ich kann über meinen postfix senden mit einem Windows Email Clienten " The Bat ". Das ist kein Problem, aber eben keine empfangen. Ich kann mich zwar in meinen email server einloggen, aber die email, die fetchmail abholt kommt nicht anbei cyrus imap.
