Fedora core 4 avmdsl card capi
by Bruno Gleie
Hallo zusammen,
versenden.
Ich habe die Datei fcdsl-suse93-3.11-07.tar.gz
ausgepackt und installiert.
/etc/capi.conf
fcdsl2 /usr/lib/isdn/fds2base.bin - - - - 1
service capi status
driver firmware proto io irq mem cardnr options
fcdsl2 /usr/lib/isdn/fds2base.bin - - - - 1
lsmod | grep capi
capi 17921 0
kernelcapi 47201 2 fcdsl2,capi
capifs 6217 2 capi
cat /proc/devices | grep capi
68 capi20
191 capi
capiinfo
capi not installed - No such device or address (6)
Danke
Gruß

X, etc. neu konfigurieren
by Al Bogner

FC3 etwas seperat installieren?

[FC4] Gnome Theater
by Carsten Groh
Hallo Zusammen,
http://readlist.com/lists/redhat.com/fedora-list/0/390.html
> Will schedule some time later today to try that. However I still
> believe something is broken if rebooting fixes it or if clearing out
> .gnome*/.gconf* fixes it.
Just log out, switch to a console, log in, and do:
evolution --force-shutdown
gconftool-2 --shutdown
Was haltet ihr davon?
Vielen Dank und Gruss vom See!
Carsten

Does anyone know a simple guide/howto configuring sendmail (or other),
so that local messages where send though an external smtp (f.e. a
freemail provider, requiring login)?
Thanks

Fedora 4 auf IBM RS/6000 7043-240
by Hans Mörschell
(Doppel-Prozessor) zu installieren;
Open Firmware.
Vielleicht hat jemand mit sowas schon Erfahrung.

vim alias nicht für root
by Rainer Traut
Hallo,
if [ -n "$BASH_VERSION" -o -n "$KSH_VERSION" -o -n "$ZSH_VERSION" ]; then
[ -x /usr/bin/id ] || return
[ `/usr/bin/id -u` -le 100 ] && return
# for bash and zsh, only if no alias is already set
alias vi >/dev/null 2>&1 || alias vi=vim
fi
Thx
Rainer
