Hi all,
Hallo!
Bitte keine HTML Mails auf die Liste. Danke.
Liste schreibst.
I'm new with Fedora Core 3.
I have two PC's, the first is an old Pentium 200 MHz with 64 MB Ram
and 2 GB Harddisk. After Installing a new 4 MB Graphics Adapter, the
installation was fine, but System needs up to 1/2 hour to shutdown.
Was siehst du denn
"passieren", wenn du "shutdown" oder "poweroff" eingetippt
hast auf der
Konsole?
Also boote mit Kernel Parametern "acpi=off
apm=on".
The second one is a Pentium II, 350 MHz with 300 MB RAM and 8 MB
Graphics. The System has 2 Harddrives, the first for WINDOOF, the
Second for Linux. Under SUSE it works fine. But with FEDORA the Systm
requests Kernel Parameter and keeps hanging.
http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/enterprise/RHEL-4-Manual/x8664-multi-i...
