There is an idea of a Talking points, which are short versions of the
Feature Announcments or Release Notes, suitable for Ambassadors.
See the link here:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_19_talking_points
Explanation here:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Talking_points_SOP?rd=Talking_Points_SOP
And discussion there:
http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/marketing/2013-March/014903.html
I think it could be great to easily produce short and catchy flyers with
this information.
Some thoughts on implementation:
* it should be a template, not a one-time thing
Idealy we shoud be able to just take random text in this form
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Template:Talking_points
then run some script and create a ready-to-print flyer. Thus it would be
easy to translate them or fill with some additional info.
Is it possible? Could we just create a latex file and fill it with text?
* it is release-oriented, thus we probably need a place for the release
banner
But other then that I would vote for more text and less pictures, since
content is important here.
* I see it as a flyer, thing to giveaway. But maybe we need a bigger
poster-size design as well?

#280: Fedora banners for use on facebook

Greetings everyone,
it would be great if we could have a few "generic" (non release-specific)
fedora banners to use as facebook covers. That would be a great way to
promote Fedora on facebook. Dimensions should be 851x315 as far as I am
aware, however submitting banners of higher resolutions should still be
acceptable. :)
Many thanks!

Hi,
The cheat cubes at [1] need updating. They still mention iptables instead
of firewalld, service instead of systemd etc.

Thanks,

The current cheat cubes (
https://fedoraproject.org/w/uploads/4/4e/Fedora_Cheat_Cube_Users.png ) are
a bit outdated, listing commands which are no longer relevant (eg.
chkconfig) or simply unnecessary (eg. xorg --configure).
The cheat cubes needs to be reviewed and updated to be relevant for
current Fedora systems.

I would like to ask for a new icon for fedora-tagger specifically for
packages not found in the search.
One suggestion could be like this http://picpaste.com/notfound-

#313: "pets vs. cattle" cloud computing illustration

This is a key metaphor for the distinction between a traditional server
and the way system images are treated in cloud computing. This comes up a
lot in slides for Fedora talks recently (especially as we talk about
Fedora Cloud and Fedora Server products). It's common to reference slides
like this one from CERN
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2013/03/18/servers_pets_or_cattle_cern/.
However, the licenses for that slide and its images are unclear, as is the
case with most things that come up in searches. Additionally, while I love
the internet cat meme as much as anyone else, it'd be nice to have
something that seemed as home in _slighly_ more formal documentation as it
does in a slide deck.
If the illustration could also reflect the difference in treatment, that
would be awesome. (Pets are named, individually cared for, and highly
valued; cattle are numbered, and treated as interchangeable and
replaceable.)
Thanks!

Our HU design team has created an newly designed, re-thinked 4F posters,
rollup banner themes, that we would like to spread within the ambassadors
worldwide, and add to the default ambassador kit. We asking for review,
and permission to be usable in events. Possibly we suggest these files to
the flyers frontpage too if it's acceptable.
