Wallpapers guidelines draft
by William Jon McCann
Hey,
So as we discussed on IRC. Attached is a draft of some guidelines for
artwork submissions and specifically desktop background contributions.
Parts of it are derived from the existing guidelines [1]. I'm hoping
this will help us:
* Clearly define the legal rules for submitted works
* Give some more explicit guidance to potential contributors
* Establish some general guidelines to frame the decision making process
What do you think?
Thanks,
Jon

[IRC meeting reminder] We're holding a meeting tommorow to select F12 theme
by Martin Sourada
Hi,
I'm reminding everyone that we'll be holding an IRC meeting tomorrow.
The TPO are:
* Mon 2009-08-10 UTC 16:00; to convert to your local time use
e.g.:
$ date -d '2009-08-10 UTC 16:00'
* #fedora-design at irc.freenode.net
* F12 Theme Selection
If by any chance I could not be present (my inet connections has been
somewhat bumpy lately), please someone step in and moderate the meeting,
and let me know afterwards about the results so that I can update the
packages. Once again reminding, if you cannot make it to the meeting,
make your opinion known in the thread entitled '[F12 Artwork] Final
Wallpaper Concept' so that it will be considered during the meeting. We
hope the meeting to be short and in a friendly manner :-)
Thanks,
Martin

[Echo Perspective] Presentation and user-desktop
by Kris Thomsen
Hi Design-team, Echo Perspective artists!
My name is Kris Thomsen, I'm 18 years old and from a little country in
Northern Europe called Denmark. I have used Linux since 2005 and this year I
started to contribute to Fedora - as it is my favorite. I'm the Danish
translation maintainer, but now I am almost finished all the translations
for Fedora 12 and want another little side-project to contribute to. I have
chosed Echo Perspective, as I really liked the first icons Martin S. made.
I am new in this area (art, icons and Inkscape) and have worked on the
user-desktop icon today and I am now confident enough to show it to you ;-)

Please come with comments on this icon - I hope you like it.
