Hi Matthias,
Lapo has created some new Mist icons very recently and was wondering if we could get them into F13. He built the latest this morning. I've attached them here in a tar.bz2. They look quite nice!

They look great, how can I install those on Fedora 12? Can I just put the new icons in the /usr/share/icons/Mist-folder?

Hi, you can copy them wherever you want even in a folder as a common user.
right click on the desktop icon->properties->left click on the icon
and select an icon you would like to replace it with.
Just don't make experiments with the Trash bin - it is a little bit more complex and the icon may go beyond recovery (without reinstalling the themes).

Wow!
These are amazing! Would be awesome to have them in Goddard. One thing, though: I think the computer icon we have now fits the wallpaper much better than the one included in these because it's a darker blue. Especially if you look at the position the icon is placed at by default on the desktop.

There is a problem with the icon-naming :) user-desktop.png is a folder with a desktop on - which is quite weird when I normally have a little icon of a desktop :D

Mairin, these look indeed great. But we'll need at least the folder icons in the same sizes that they are present in the gnome icon theme, or things will look bad at different zoom levels in nautilus.
