Branding
by Ryan Lerch
After all the discussion on branding, and talking with some other
members of the Fedora Design team, it seems that the option for branding
on Fedora 21 Workstation of putting the logo on the wallpaper
(superimposed using a shell extension), is the best option.
Other options such as putting icons and text in the topbar can directly
impact the user experience, so any of those changes will need to be
user-tested, something that we don't really have time for in this
release cycle, so we will need to reconsider these options with some
relevant user testing data for the next release cycle.
cheers,

Re: Workstation text on Fedora.next website
by Máirín Duffy
Oh I apologize, we're on the same page it seems. I agree it doesn't make sense to use the word default. I must have misread and thought you were suggesting to insert it.

Audio issues in FW21?
by Christian Schaller
Hi,
I was trying to connect a headset to my laptop today (running the current beta) and I noticed that I got no sound out. Looking inside the control panel I notice that when I plug in my headset into the headphone jack, the internal speaker output disappears, but no headphone output appears.
First of all I didn't it use to be possible to switch to internal speakers even when headset is connected? Also are more people than me seeing the issue of headset output not appearing? I am on a Lenovo T430s.

Re: Make Yumex Default Package Manager
by Anibal Gomez
> What do you like about it that the current default doesn't provide?
Because the default package manager is so slow... Thats the "big"
problem; And trying Yumex, it is very fast.
