Meeting deferral?
by Paul W. Frields
There doesn't seem to be an imminent issue right now for the WG so I was
considering cancelling the meeting today (in ten hours). However, if
someone knows of an agenda worthy issue, please respond and we can
reconsider.

F22 missing simple how to, contents list
by tns1
I just tried out fedora 22 live to see what had changed since 10. What
has always seemed lacking is a simple list of what is "in the box", and
a "how do I" list for common tasks. This helps both the newbie and linux
user who has changed distros. Change lists are only useful if you track
every release. As an idea, start with a list of installed packages, keep
only end-user stuff, add a use category field to sort by, and show the
summary info string and how to launch it (desktop, terminal). Post this
right on the desktop and at the top of the wiki. Why should it take more
than a few seconds to answer common use questions? Example: what disk
imaging tool is included and how do I find and use it? Likewise with
browser, email, office apps, backup, music.

Chrome user agent release note
by Paul W. Frields
As agreed in our meeting a couple weeks ago, I want to correct the
oversight for a release note on fedora-chrome-user-agent. Will this
suffice? +1's are helpful, and if you -1, please provide corrected
text (and why, if not obvious). Thanks!
* * *
Fedora 23 Workstation contains the fedora-chrome-user-agent package by
default. This package is used to provide a Fedora-specific user agent
string to users who later download Google Chrome for web browsing.
This brings the Google Chrome user agent string into closer alignment
with the one used in default Mozilla Firefox.

when battery power is critical
by Chris Murphy
On Fedora 22 cleanly installed, this is what I see in Settings > Power:
Automatic suspend: Off
When battery power is critical: Hibernate
There are no choices, those are fixed settings that I can't change.
The actual behavior I see when the battery gets critical though, is
suspend, not hibernate. First there is a message the machine is about
to be hibernated, but then:
Sep 27 02:45:38 f22m.localdomain systemd-sleep[4960]: Suspending system...
I get the same results with Fedora 23, with one exception in Settings
> Power "When battery power is critical: Hibernate" is not listed at
all, just that automatic suspend is off.
Anyway, the system suspends, but there is no battery power so the
suspend to RAM is lost, and it's entirely possible if not likely that
there will be data loss or fs corruption as a result.
Also cc'ing test@ because I'm not seeing a test case for this. It
seems to me that out of the box we shouldn't be risking people's data
like this, but it's not like poweroff -f is a whole lot better (except
for the fs portion).
