Sorry, I haven't changed it yet.

I was not sure if I should go ahead and do it because Matthias objected to that change, and I really didn't want to cause a needless controversy.

However if you all still think this is the right way to fix this (I think it is, but I don't know who has the final word on this) I'll be happy to commit this one line change right now.
