= Proposed Self Contained Change: Replace UDisks2 by Storaged =
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Replace_UDisks2_by_Storaged

* Tomáš Smetana <tsmetana redhat com >
Storaged extends UDisks2 API by exporting several enterprise features
(in form of plugins), such as LVM2 and iSCSI. This project is a
drop-in replacement for UDisks2, either from D-Bus or binary point of
view. The main motivation of this change is to provide the unified
D-Bus API for all the clients who are willing to manage LVM2, iSCSI,
Btrfs, BCache, LSM and ZRam.
== Detailed Description ==
Aim of Storaged is to provide unified higher level management
interface for various clients who are willing to query and manage
storage bits of the system. We plan to replace UDisks2 by Storaged,
since the Storaged itself is the fork of UDisks2 and these 2 projects
in its core haven't diverged so much (Storaged got some improvements
which popped up while using it).

= Proposed System Wide Change: Use /etc/distro.repos.d as default reposdir =
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/ReposInEtcDistroReposD
Change owner(s):
* Neal Gompa <ngompa13 at gmail dot com>
* Jan Silhan <jsilhan at fedoraproject dot org>
== Detailed Description ==
For DNF 2.0 in Fedora 25, the DNF team would like to make the default
repository configuration directory /etc/distro.repos.d. In contrast to
/etc/yum.repos.d (current default path), /etc/distro.repos.d path is a
package manager agnostic name and less misleading. The configuration
files are currently used by DNF, PackageKit, and Yum. The proposed
location more accurately reflects the nature of the repositories, and
also implies that other tools can look there for repository
information. Note: current default repository configuration directory
/etc/yum.repos.d will still be supported by package managers but
/etc/distro.repos.d would be preferred default path.
== Scope ==
* Proposal owners:
DNF already supports /etc/distro.repos.d, but it should be set as default.
Yum will need to use the new path by default while supporting the current one.
* Other developers:
PackageKit's Hif backend will need to use the new path by default
while supporting the current one.
fedora-repos and fedora-workstation-repositories will need to change
to the new path.
* Release engineering: N/A
List of deliverables: N/A (Not needed for this Change)
* Policies and guidelines:
Packages containing repository configuration will need to change to
store repo files in /etc/distro.repos.d.
* Trademark approval: N/A (not needed for this Change)

# F24 Blocker Review meeting
# Date: 2016-05-30
# Time: 16:00 UTC
# Location: #fedora-blocker-review on irc.freenode.net
Hi folks! We have 4 proposed Final blockers to review. There are also 5
accepted blockers to check in on, and 5 proposed freeze exception
issues to review since the freeze will kick in on Tuesday.
If you have time tonight, you can take a look at the proposed or
accepted blockers before the meeting - the full lists can be found
here: https://qa.fedoraproject.org/blockerbugs/ . Remember to check
each outstanding milestone (Beta and Final).
We'll be evaluating these bugs to see if they violate any of the
Release Criteria and warrant the blocking of a release if they're not
fixed. Information on the release criteria for F24 can be found on the
wiki [0].
For more information about the Blocker and Freeze exception process,
check out these links:

And for those of you who are curious how a Blocker Review Meeting
works - or how it's supposed to go and you want to run one - check out
the SOP on the wiki:

Have a good evening and see you tomorrow!

Hi folks! I'm proposing we cancel tomorrow's QA meeting. We're into
Final validation mode now, and I don't think there are any urgent
topics to discuss. If anyone has anything that we should meet about,
please do reply to this email and we can go ahead and schedule the
meeting. Thanks!
