Self Introduction: Benjamin Lowry
by Benjamin Lowry
Hello everyone! I've been using Fedora for a while and I'm interested
in getting involved with the project, specifically with packaging and
QA. I have experience with Python and Golang. I've submitted my first
package review request on Bugzilla [1] and I'm looking for sponsorship.
If you need to contact me, you can find me on Freenode as blowry.
Thanks for your time. -Ben

fedora infrastructure issues: don't panic, it's not your fault
by Fabio Valentini
Hi all,
There have been some reports that multiple fedora services are
currently not working. It might be a good idea to post this to devel
as a new thread to make sure more people see it and don't start
panicking because their builds are failing or bodhi sends them cryptic
error messages.
- This issue is already being tracked:
https://status.fedoraproject.org/
- It looks like the fedora message queues arent working correctly:
https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/issue/8477
This is affecting bodhi (updates are not getting pushed to the correct
tags and repos) and koji (builds are not moved to the correct tags,
probably because bodhi doesn't tell it to, and there are no new
composes of updates-testing), greenwave started to fail, and I think
it's even starting to affect COPR builds from what I've read.
So don't panic if your build fails or doesn't get pushed to -testing
or rawhide. It's not a problem with your package / build, but fedora
infrastructure seems to suffer from cookie coma.

How to reuild wdune ?
by J. Scheurich
Hi,
I tried the following:
$ kinit mufti11(a)FEDORAPROJECT.ORG
rm -rf wdune
fedpkg clone wdune
cd wdune
$ fedpkg import ~/rpmbuild/SRPMS/wdune-1.654-3.fc32.src.rpm > /dev/null
$ git commit -sm "Initial import (#1658153)"
error: gpg failed to sign the data
fatal: failed to write commit object
$ fedpkg push
Everything up-to-date
$ fedpkg build
Could not execute build: /home/home/mufti/wdune has uncommitted
changes. Use git status to see details
Try option --srpm to make scratch build from local changes.
$
I updated the gpg keys with
curl https://getfedora.org/static/fedora.gpg | gpg --import

Port fedora for RISC-V with out compressed instructions
by Sreenadh S
We want to port fedora for RISC-V with out compressed (RV64IMAFD) instructions.
We are from Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) India.
We have implemented an Out-of order quad core RISC-V processor on FPGA.
The processor is without compressed instructions.
We want to port fedora for RISC-V with out compressed instructions.
Please share the link if it is already ported, or give the guidelines on how to port.
