Ignoring the silly stuff, it does seem that this is Yet Another Reason Prelink Is Bad,
and we seem to keep bumping
up against those. It does rather seem like we should consider just killing it, at least
by default.

* i see NO NOTICEABLE better performance in any environment
* it does all the things which was a pseudo reason for "offline updates"
* it makes intrusion detection only working with bad hacks
* it is lowering security for zero benefit
