Neither does it deal with repeatability, consider what happens if you cross
build a package during beta and it works then native build it during final
and it doesn't. The vaguaries of the compiler and cross compiler suite can
cause this to bite you very occasionally.
I particularly like the way bridge-utils will build _entirely_
differently according to whether it happens to detect libsysfs in the
system or not. And sometimes it fails to detect libsysfs even when it's
present, so it silently builds for a 2.4 kernel :)
