You might also see if you can get one of the alternate terminals. If that works then the
kernel is booted and its just
X which is not starting.
I can't change terminals. I assume the kernel doesn't boot at all, or crashes very
early.
I can't see any kind of activity from Linux kernel after GRUB-efi messages and the
screen switches to blank..
