I'm wondering the same thing. I see some indications that there is still an
active (though the pulse is weak?) upstream. What happened to those
Evolution authors/developers/maintainers?
Don't confuse some people voicing their personal frustration with
evolution with factual information. Instead, go to
http://mail.gnome.org/archives/evolution-patches/ or
http://mail.gnome.org/archives/evolution-hackers/
and watch the upstream development, or better yet, help out.
