Thank you, Miro, and sorry again for the trouble.  I'm serious about helping to maintain the package, too, so let me know what I can do on that score.

The second sagemath upstream releases a python 3 version, we can drop quite a few python 2 packages out of Fedora.  I'll let everybody know when that happens.
