Apt.
"apt-get update" reads the crap and caches it.
"apt-get upgrade" uses the cached crap to upgrade your system.
"apt-get install whatever" installs the current (according to the cached crap)
version of "whatever".
I really like Apt, but it seems to be less supported than yum and up2date.
