And years of terminally broken build practices Java-side have finally
resulted in complete capture of all the Java big data code the ASF
wrote and people contributed to by a single ISV, Cloudera. Because it’s
the sole remaining ISV able to build the result and provide it as
secure and supported binaries.
Do you think the corps that paid a lot of the ASF devs to create the
projects that Cloudera sells today did not notice? The next generation
of corp-funded enterprise code will use another language.
