Plenty of nice fixes! :-)
I've just tried a minimal network text installation using ftp, and got all the way to the "Preparing to install packages" screen with the space for the package details and installation progress bars behind the initial dialog, but then anaconda crashed.

Great! I'm really looking forward to being able to install Rawhide from scratch... I'll keep my fingers crossed hoping it'll happen tomorrow ;-)

Bah, a booting kernel isn't enough, you expect it to work too? :)
I think I've just fixed this in CVS, so tomorrows kernel may actually boot AND work. Imagine! Rocket cars! Jetpacks! It's like the future, but now.

Wow, awesome! But...
...fear not, anaconda to the rescue today! With "install existed abnormally" right after the "Running anaconda script /usb/bin/anaconda" on tty2... the future will just have to wait :-D
More seriously, I hope this issue (i386 boot.iso 20060630 ftp install) is easily reproducible, because it doesn't seem to give any useful details.
