I'll be updating hdf5 to 1.8.16 in rawhide in the next few days. This
includes a soname bump for the C++ wrapper libs, but as usual I'll be
rebuilding all deps due to run-time version checking by the library.

Nope, still waiting for the arm build to complete...
Several of the packages being rebuilt for hdf5 also need to be rebuilt
for Boost 1.60, which I'm doing in the f24-boost tag.
I will hold off rebuilding OpenImageIO and the other packages that
require Boost, and do it after the hdf5 builds are done.
Richard, once the hdf5 builds are done, would it be better for your
rebuild to be done in the f24-boost tag with the new Boost, to avoid
building it twice?

Well, the arm build is hanging in a test, so this didn't happen today. I'll
try to reproduce the test failure to see what's up...
Switching mpich to the nemesis channel on all platforms has cleared this
up. hdf5 build has started now and should be done in about 4 hours.
Then I'll start the rest of the rebuilds.

No trouble so far. Is there an ETA on merging the boost tag back in? This is
getting a bit cumbersome. Thanks.
There are quite a few packages that failed to build with the new
Boost, but either the problem isn't Boost or the fix is not obvious to
me yet. However, about 250 of the 300+ packages are rebuilt (including
libreoffice) so maybe it's time to merge it back and fix thigns
directly in f24.

Switching mpich to the nemesis channel on all platforms has cleared this up.
hdf5 build has started now and should be done in about 4 hours. Then I'll
start the rest of the rebuilds.
netcdf is giving me fits so I'm going to be able to complete the netcdf
dependent builds today. The rest of the hdf5 only dependent stuff should be
done now or soon.
