Today's Meeting Summary / AIs / PROPOSAL

Today I was the only person who attended the meeting, so here are my
thoughts for the next AIs and a PROPOSAL.
AI: continue to aggregate the fedoramagazine article [1] among your
social media accounts / people you would like to recommend: EVERYONE
AI: apply to the diversity adivsor position: MARINA, SPENCER, TSEGGA, MARIA
PROPOSAL: cancel the recurring meetings until after the end of July
application deadline and address issues via this list, if needed

Concerns with the volunteer nature of the Fedora Diversity Advisor role

Hi Matt,
There are mail chains (OSAS list) and on social media about the topic
(volunteer nature of the Fedora Diversity Advisor role).
I think it will nice to have a fedora magazine post to clear things out
and put forward our thoughts on the topic.

Having a formal role description is preferable as it helps set the level of
expectation for anyone, wether it is,a volunteering or paid position. It
also create boundaries and healthy relationship between teams.
In my role as the IBM chair for our diversity council it was more like a
passion that was ignited by our purpose of humanity aligned with our
conpany's goals.
