Past the signature problem
by Karl Larsen
Well now the signature appears as I want it. It was far harder to do
than I thought. But it is now done.

Public key
by Karl Larsen
I was asked to get a Public Key number and got KGpg from yum and it
seemed to do what was needed and I have 2 long numbers one called ID and
the other is a real huge number. Which of these or another do I need to
put in my signature file? I do not see the use yet.

DUG

Hey all,
Can we come to a consensus on what else needs to be done to make this
doc a reality.
At the moment it's in pieces which is fine and people are working on it.
I'm just curious as to what topics need to be covered in order to make
it useful to the end user. There is (IMO) some overlap between the
Admin guide and the Desktop one and there will always be so with that
thought should we transfer some topics across?
Would love a target in place makes things easier to say yup completed
edit ready etc.
Cheers,
Marc

Unleash the flying monkeys!
I'll see about getting a Rawhide instance going in the next few weeks
for testing. Hereby letting all others interested in quality PDF
production from DocBook, here's a way to lend a hand - test the new FOP
build.

quote order (was [Fwd: [Fedora Project Wiki] Update of "Docs/Drafts/AdministrationGuide/UserAccounts" by VladimirKosovac])
by Karsten Wade
The correction below brings up a small thing we can be consistent about,
but first we can decide how we prefer it.
So let's vote! (+1 for your preference)
su -c 'command -c "quoted text" foo'
su -c "command -c 'quoted text' foo"
In other words:
" '' "
... or...
' "" '

Request to withdraw outdated tqsg translated version
by Noriko Mizumoto
Hi Paul and docs team
As you already noticed, we translators aggressively have started
translation of TQSG. However there are several languages which have not
been yet completed their update. For example, clicking 'Japanese'
results showing old version, but new translator may not know that it is old.
http://docs.fedoraproject.org/translation-quick-start-guide/
So could you kindly withdraw old version from the above tentatively till
fully updated translation is committed?
Thanks

Useful Reference for the Upcoming FDSCo Election
by John Babich
Any Fedoran who is interested in voting in the upcoming
FDSCo election, or in running for one of the positions:
I recently completed converting all of the IRC logs of FDSCo
(Fedora Documentation Steering Committee) meetings for
the entire year of 2007 into HTML. This greatly improves
their readability and usefulness in understanding the
issues surrounding the Fedora Docs Project activities.
You can view them at
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/DocsProject/SteeringCommittee/Meetings/Minutes.
You may find the 10 January 2007 meeting minutes of
special interest, since it discusses the preparations for the
last election in February 2007.
Enjoy,
