Self Introduction: Mohan Prakash
by Mohan Prakash
Hi
I am from India (Jharkhand), and a teacher by profession.
I have recently joined the fedora projects and felt that I could be
useful in this docs project.
It takes some time to learn and understand though, about how to contribute.
Hopefully I shall get used to the process quite soon.
thanks and regards
Mohan Prakash

Introduction
by Darrenn Jackson
Hello all,
My name is Darrenn Jackson. I've been a Linux user since 2002 since I
installed Red Hat 9 alongside WinME on my Dell Laptop in college. One of
the main reasons I first chose Red Hat and stayed with Fedora was the
strength of it's available documentation. I learned a lot from the RH9
docs.
I've used Fedora as my Linux of choice for all my main systems, save for my
Raspberry Pi. I've also used Knoppix, OpenSuse, and FreeNAS.
I have a BA in Creative Writing (Nonfiction), hold both a (barely) current
A+ and Linux+, know quite a bit of python.
This is my first open source project I've ever joined as a contributor,
save for correcting a few errors of the example yum.conf that the
fedorafaq.org site provided.
I look forward to learning a lot more about Fedora while contributing to
its success!
Sincerely,
Darrenn

Following in the footsteps of the ARG, I've created a wishlist for the Security Guide[0]. I'm not sure exactly when I'm going to start work on this but I really hope it's soon. I'm going to use the wishlist as a means of planning my attack. Anyone that would like to help contribute are more than welcome to do so!

Ensure that time synchronization and DNS are functioning correctly on all client and server machines before configuring Kerberos. Pay particular attention to time synchronization between the Kerberos server and its clients. If the time difference between the server and client is greater than five minutes (this is configurable in Kerberos 5), Kerberos clients can not authenticate to the server. This time synchronization is necessary to prevent an attacker from using an old Kerberos ticket to masquerade as a valid user.
