"Desktop User Guide? Oh, I guess that's not for me because I use a laptop."
Yes, the multiple meanings of 'desktop' trip us up here.
We had decided at one point to change the "Fedora Desktop User Guide" to the "Fedora User Guide." This could be perceived as a wider scope, in that it could include using Fedora web services in the future.
I think that's OK, as the line between the client and server melds continuously and from the end-user perspective, "Fedora search" or "Fedora TV" could be covered in a "Fedora User Guide."
Still, the old DUG title has been kept around because of the hassle of changing the URL and such.
Before I begin work on a new, permanent URL for User Guide work, is it:
* wiki/User_Guide/ * wiki/Desktop_User_Guide/ * wiki/???_User_Guide

I like Fedora User Guide. Isn't there a Server Guide or something like that which could cover more of the server aspects (i.e. httpd, etc).

I must agree that as a Laptop user, 'Desktop User Guide' isn't as catchy as 'Fedora User Guide'. +1 to FUG.
I like Fedora User Guide as well -- if the distinction is desired, there is always the option of something such as "Client User Guide," but I can't help feeling that just muddles things further.

What about "Fedora Desktop Guide"? The desktop is not just a laptop but most people recognize it as the screen with which they work and save files.
Just a thought,

Well ... desktop is still pretty ambiguous, and to be honest, is a bit more of an IT term than a regular folks term, isn't it? Regardless, it's nice to put a human-focused term in the title, then people know if it's for them and by what role:
User Administrator Developer etc.

After a big more thought, I definitely give my vote (thusfar) to Fedora User Guide -- it captures both the idea that it's what an end-user would do on a desktop, and provides a clear distinction when paired with the Fedora Admin Guide.
