We would like to inform you that this year's conference of free software
and open source software communities Fosscomm will be held by the
University of Thessaly,in the premises of the IT department with
applications inBiomedicineof the University of Thessaly in the city of
Lamia, on the dates 18-20 November 2022. The conference is a joint
organization of the Department of Informatics with Applications in
Biomedicine and the Open Technologies Organization EELLAK.
With this email we would like to invite you to consider coming as a speaker
at this year's Fosscomm.
This year's Fosscomm will have as its main topics, the application of Open
Technologies in the field of Healthcare as well as their application in the
fields of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. It will also
include speeches regarding their applications in other scientific
disciplines.The conference will include an open discussion on Open
Technologies in which questions from the audience related to the topic will
be answered, Workshops in which participants will have the opportunity to
learn about topics related to Open Technologies through their practice and
practice and finally presentations-speeches concerning Open Technologies
and their application in various industries and for various services. The
topic of the speech/workshop is at the discretion of the speaker.
We would like to invite you, and it would be a great honor for you to be
with us, in order to present to us your own research or the research of the
company you work for through a talk that will last about 30 minutes or a
workshop that will last approximately from 1 to 2.5 hours. There is also
the possibility of online lectures. In any such case, please inform us by
email.

About the conference:
Fosscomm (Free and Open Source Software Communities Meeting) is an annual
pan-Hellenic conference of free software and open source software
communities. It is aimed at developers, students and in general anyone
interested in open source regardless of their knowledge background. Open
source communities, developer groups and project contributors are involved.
The conference has a wide range of topics, from technical issues and
workshops, to translations, legal issues, policy issues related to
free/open software, etc.
Participation is free and open to all.
The majority of accommodation expenses, in case of living in your presence,
will be covered by the conference.
This year's fosscomm will take place in a hybrid format (live and online
via livestreaming).
