Hi all, following is a list when Im checking my env./xfce today, wish helps for your diags. 1. missing dependencies @xfce. (packages ) # network-manager-applet-0.9.9.0-15.git20140307.el7.x86_64 # shotwell (Other basic packages like browsers/mail clients/im ...) 2. following missing packages, and versions Im building based on fc20. please consider to add into repo. xfce4-screenshooter-1.8.1-2.el7.centos.x86_64 xfce4-terminal-0.6.3-1.el7.centos.x86_64 xscreensaver-5.29-1.el7.centos.x86_64 libgle-devel-3.1.0-9.el7.centos.x86_64 xorg-x11-resutils-7.5-8.el7.centos.x86_64 gnome-icon-theme-3.10.0-1.el7.centos.noarch gnome-icon-theme-legacy-3.10.0-1.el7.centos.noarch gnome-icon-theme-symbolic-3.10.0-1.el7.centos.noarch these packages, Im compiling based on following src: xfce4-screenshooter-1.8.1-2.fc20.src.rpm xfce4-terminal-0.6.3-1.fc20.src.rpm xscreensaver-5.29-1.fc20.src.rpm xorg-x11-resutils-7.5-8.fc20.src.rpm libgle-3.1.0-9.fc20.src.rpm gnome-icon-theme-3.10.0-1.fc20.src.rpm gnome-icon-theme-symbolic-3.10.0-1.fc20.src.rpm 'xscreensaver' should be resolved onto "/bin/xflock4". which helps to lock screen. to build and run xscreensaver, we need extra deps on libgle-devel and xorg-x11-resutils. also above "xscreensaver-5.29-1.fc20.src.rpm" has a dep on pkg "fedora-release", I just updated the spec to "centos-release". it's working. -- Regards, -suse

Thanks, currently I just install the -basic one, just for dependency solving. I agree with nonamedotc that we can change the dependency here, onto existing pkg "gnome-backgrounds", which doesn't require other sources. maybe we can then add pkg "gnome-backgrounds" onto dependency @xfce. -- Regards, -suse

Hi Guru, I was tring to inst xfce on CentOS 7 release.
