qt6 is being updated from 6.2.3 to 6.3.1 in epel9.[1]
There is no soname bump, and everything should be backward compatible.
Why announce it?
Our KDE Plasma Desktop policy is to do a major update only once a year in
the main epel repositories.
qt6 is currently NOT part of the KDE Plasma Desktop. Nothing in the
current KDE Plasma Desktop depends on it. But, since it is a qt library, I
figured some people might think I'm updating the qt library out from under
them.
Again:
qt5, part of the KDE Plasma Desktop, is not changing.
qt6, NOT part of the KDE Plasma Desktop, is being updated.
Thank You
Troy

rpki-client-8.0-1.el7 (FEDORA-EPEL-2022-c2338496d8)
OpenBSD RPKI validator to support BGP Origin Validation
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
# rpki-client 8.0 * Add suport for validating Autonomous System Provider
Authorization (ASPA) objects conforming to draft-ietf-sidrops-aspa-profile-10.
Validated ASPA payloads are visible in JSON and filemode (`-f`) output. * Set
rsync connection I/O idle timeout to 15 seconds. * Unify the maximum idle I/O
and connect timeouts for RSYNC & HTTPS. * Rpki-client now performs stricter EE
certificate validation: - Disallow AS Resources extensions in ROA EE
certificates. - Disallow Subject Information Access (SIA) extensions in RPKI
Signed Checklist (RSC) EE certs. - Check the resources in ROAs and RSCs
against EE certs. * Improve readability and add various information being
printed in verbose mode. * Extend filemode (`-f`) output and print X.509
certificates in PEM format when increased verbosity (`-vv`) is specified. *
Shorten the RRDP I/O idle timeout. * Introduce a deadline timer that aborts
all repository synchronization after seven eights of timeout (`-s`). With this
rpki-client has improved chances to complete and produce an output even when a
CA is excessivly slow. * Abort a currently running RRDP request process when
the per-repository timeout is reached. * Permit multiple AccessDescription
entries in SIA X.509 extensions. While fetching from secondary locations is not
yet supported, rpki-client will not treat occurence as a fatal error. *
Resolve a potential for a race condition in non-atomic RRDP deltas. * Fix some
memory leaks. * Improve compliance with the HTTP protocol specification.

python-mapbox-earcut-1.0.0-5.el9 (FEDORA-EPEL-2022-82f18e42c0)
Python bindings to the mapbox earcut C++ library
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Updated `earcut-hpp` to version 2.2.4 and built with `-ffp-contract=off` for
consistent results on `aarch64`, `ppc64le`, and `s390x`. Upstream notes for
`earcut.hpp` 2.2.4: - Synced with earcut to version 2.2.4 - Added missing
include headers to fix compilation with more recent libstdc++ versions - Fixed
another rare race condition that could lead to an infinite loop.

ChangeLog:
* Fri Sep 9 2022 Benjamin A. Beasley <code(a)musicinmybrain.net> 1.0.0-5
- Rebuild with earcut-hpp 2.2.4
* Fri Sep 9 2022 Benjamin A. Beasley <code(a)musicinmybrain.net> 1.0.0-4
- Build with -ffp-contract=off
- For the underlying C++ library, this fixes certain test failures on
aarch64, ppc64le, and s390x. The tests for this package are less picky
and pass either way.

xorgxrdp-0.9.19-1.el9 (FEDORA-EPEL-2022-5eb3632152)
Implementation of xrdp backend as Xorg modules
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
xorgxrdp v0.9.19 General announcements You might be surprised that xorgxrdp
version is suddenly jumped from v0.2.18 to v0.9.19. We decided to bump up
version from v0.2 to v0.9 to indicate xorgxrdp v0.9 is compatible with xrdp
v0.9. We also made a tag v0.2.19. Both v0.2.19 and v0.9.19 are minor version up
from v0.2.18 and identical. For upcoming xorgxrdp v1.0 is not compatible with
xrdp v0.9 and is for upcoming xrdp v1.0. New features Too fast scroll
mitigation Workaround for too fast vertical scrolling on touchpad (#150) has
been implemented. Define an environment variable XRDP_XORG_TOUCHPAD_SCROLL_HACK
and set to yes, true, on or 1 to mitigate too fast scroll. More specifically,
edit xrdp's sesman.ini as following and restart xrdp-sesman. [SessionVariables]
(some existing lines) XRDP_XORG_TOUCHPAD_SCROLL_HACK=yes This is a temporary
workaround and may be removed in future version. What's Changed - Fix build

The problem is not with CentOS Stream but with EPEL. The package with the
problem is that the libknet1 built to have all the extra modules was built
against the RHEL package and not the CentOS Stream ones. So it is not going
to work. This package needs to be removed from epel/8 and instead be in
epel/next/8
